JOSEPHINE JOYCE BLACKLER
1927 – 2018
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joyce Blackler announce her passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on April 29, 2018 at the age of 90. Joyce was a member of the Springdale Pentecostal Church. She was predeceased by her husband Walter and daughter-in-law Jean. Left with fond and loving memories is her sons-Maurice (Marilyn) of Grand Falls-Windsor, David (Doreen) of Springdale, Bruce (Diane) of Vancouver, BC and Jim of Springdale; daughters-Lisa of Springdale and Lorna (Scott) also of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn is her half-brother Gordon Warr; 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild as well as many other relatives and friends. Pastor William Sampson will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 10:30 am. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery, Grant Avenue. Pallbearers are Grant, Trevor, Terrence, Michael and Matthew. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
