Shirley Yvonne Thomas
1936-2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Shirley Thomas announces her passing at the Bonavista Peninsula Health Centre on November 27, 2016 at the age of 80. Shirley loved to sing and enjoyed living at Golden Heights Manor in Bonavista. Shirley was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Bertha Thomas; sisters, Mamie and Lillian; brothers, George, Harold, Baxter, and Cyril. Leaving to mourn are her brothers Raymond and Harvey, and a large number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Majors Marilyn and Maurice Blackler will conduct the funeral service from the Central Funeral Homes Chapel, Grand Falls-Windsor on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery in Grand Falls-Windsor. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Jim Maidment of Central Funeral Homes. Donations may be made to The Salvation Army Grand Falls Citadel 33 Circular Road.
