BAXTER WILDON BUTT
1942 – 2016

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Baxter Wildon Butt announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Center in Grand Falls-Windsor on December 21, 2016 at the age of 74. Baxter was a member of the Living Waters Ministries in Springdale. He retired from owner/operator of “Baxter Butt Sawmill”. Baxter was predeceased by his wife Janet Butt; parents Blanche & Azariah Butt; sisters Mildred Parsons and Beatrice Clarke and brothers Walter Butt, Lloyd Butt and Roy Butt. Left with fond and loving memories is his sons-Clyde (Lori) of Springdale and Michael (Kelly) of Springdale; daughters-Karen (Dean) of Wabush and Betty-Lynn (Randy) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn are his mother-in-law Ethel Knight; brothers Fred Butt and Ford Butt and a large family of brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews as well as many friends. Pastor Clayton Butt along with Pastor Lindsey Foster will conduct the funeral service from the Pentecostal Church in Springdale on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are nephews-Melv Butt, Don Butt, Brian Butt, Bob Butt; nephew-in-law Larry Warren; grandsons-Noah Butt, Joshua Janes and Judah Janes. Honorary pallbearers are granddaughters, Erin Butt and Jessica Weir. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
