I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, a very beautiful lady whom I remember well from my teaching days in Grand Falls. The last time I saw her after many years was when I was visiting my family in Buchans and the choir from Grand Falls was doing a concert in the church. I looked up from the congregation and recognized your mother instantly. It was wonderful to chat with her after. At the end of the school year you gave me a Royal Albert china cup with a centennial rose pattern on it because it was Centennial Year and I was married that year. You may be happy to know that I now have a complete set with that lovely pattern. It was great to see you when I was in Happy Valley attending the opening of the new health care centre. It was a lovely surprise to find out you were working there. Please extend my condolences to your father and sister and all family members. I lost my mother three years ago so I know the pain you are experiencing. May memories of happier family days encourage and sustain you in the days ahead. God bless.
