EGBERT HAROLD GEORGE CLARKE
1922 – 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Egbert Clarke announce his passing at the Valley Vista Seniors Home in Springdale on July 12, 2015 at the age of 93. Egbert Clarke was a member of the Grace United Church in Springdale. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Elsie Clarke; his brothers Walter and Corbin Clarke and his sisters Ada Rideout and Vera O’Rourke. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Olive Clarke and his daughter Golda Kelleher (Kelvin) of Springdale. Also leaving to mourn are grandchildren-Paul (Kaileen) Kelleher, Dean (Sachiko) Kelleher; great grandchildren-Kaitlyn, Jamie, Tianna, Leah and Keon; his sisters Shirley (Hubert) O’Reilly and Lily Penney; sisters-in-law Iris (Sherlock) and Vivian Earle; brothers-in-law Ray (Sadie) Earle and Eddie (Karen) Earle as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and friends. Rev. Wilson Gonese will conduct the funeral service from Central Funeral Home in Springdale. Interment will be at the United Cemetery in Springdale. Pallbearers are Barry Earle, Eddie Earle, Don O’Rourke, George Warr, Francis Wheeler and Sherlock Dicks. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
