It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kevin Patrick Kennedy announce his passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on August 13, 2015, at the age of 82. He was a member of the Lions Club and Knights of Columbus. He retired from Laborers International Union and International Association of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworks in 1997. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen Kennedy (Ethridge), parents Terrance and Catherine, brothers Joseph, Jack and Jim. Kevin leaves to mourn his sons Shayne Kennedy of Peterborough, Ontario, Zane Kennedy (Daphne) of Kitchener, Ontario, Jamie Kennedy of St. John’s, NL and daughters Della Kelly (Tom) of Torbay, NL, Brenda Kennedy (Cory) of Dartmouth, NS, and Trina Kennedy (Krista) of St. John’s, NL. Also leaving to mourn sisters Loretta Penton, Marie Kozak (Dave), Eileen Francis (Fred) and Madonna Beaton (Eric) and Grandson Morgan Kennedy. Pallbearer Della Kelly, and honorary pallbearers Shayne Kennedy, Zane Kennedy. Father Joseph Han-Mensah will conduct the funeral service at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel on Tuesday, August 18,2015, at 2:00pm. Interment will be at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery.
