It is with great sadness that the family of the late Genevieve Frances Eveleigh announce her passing at the Carmelite House in Grand Falls-Windsor, on November 13, 2015, at the age of 71. Gen was a member of the Parish Council for 4 years, and retired from the Royal Bank of Canada, after 37years of service. She is predeceased by her parents Ronald and Patricia Tulk, brother Ronnie, and sister Rosemary. Gen leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Os, and son Craig (Laurie) of Prince Edward Island. Also leaving to mourn are her pride and joy, her grandchildren Joshua, age 7 and Jenna age 4. Gen was part of a large family, and she will be greatly missed by her sisters Elizabeth Pittman (Donald), Patsy Card (Les), Blanche Tulk, Judy Saunders (Clayton) and Donna Mercer (Jerry); her brothers Jim Tulk (Dorothy), Harry Tulk (Linda) and Sean Tulk. She has a very large extended family including brother-in-law Gilmore Eveleigh (Rowena), Glenda Tulk, and Pauline Tulk. Along with many more relatives and friends. Father William Hearn will conduct the Funeral Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday November 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at the Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers are her family Les Card, Clayton Saunders, Donald Pittman, Jim Tulk, Will Maher, and Jerry Mercer. In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested that donations please be made to the Carmelite House, Palliative Care Unit.
