HAROLD GORDON HILLYARD
1949 – 2015
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Gordon Hillyard announce his passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on December 26, 2015 at the age of 66. Harold was a member of the United Church. He retired from Corner Brook Pulp and Paper. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and William Hillyard; brothers-Ted Hillyard, Bill Hillyard, Albert Hillyard and his sister Rachel Cabot. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife Annie Hillyard; sons-Tony Hillyard (Candy) of Springdale and Trevor Hillyard (Suzey) of Robert’s Arm; daughters-Tracey Penney (Jerry) of Charlottetown, NL and Trudy Roberts (Keith) of Triton. Also leaving to mourn are brothers and sisters-Norman (Julie) Hillyard, Michael Hillyard, Irene Ryland, Liz (Curtis) Yetman, Mary (Clarence) Yetman, Eric (Marg) Hillyard, Masie Breau and Rebecca (Mathew) Cabot; grandchildren-Makenna, JT, Holly, Cassie, Jordan, Logan and Jaxson as well as numerous other extended family and friends. Pastor Bill Harnum will conduct the funeral service from the Word of Life Tabernacle in Robert’s Arm on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Pallbearer will be Trevor Hillyard. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
