It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, and sister, on April 19, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer. Ann was 71 years of age when she passed away at the Central Newfoundland Health Centre .Devoted wife to Ed for 50 years. Loving mother to Brenda (Darrell) Giffin of Upper Tantallon, NS, and Paula (Richard) Reeves of Grand Falls-Windsor. Cherished grandmother to Kyle, Nicole, Megan, Tyler, Tayler, Kaiti, and Noah. Ann will be fondly remembered by her sisters, Sheila (Fred) Janes, Carmel Barry, Madonna Dillion, Bernie Barry (Steadman), Helen Barry (Fred), and her brothers, Tom (Eileen) Barry, Kevin (Alicia) Barry, Ed Barry (Joan), and Mike (Val) Barry. She is predeceased by her parents, Bert and Margaret Barry and her sister, Jacinta Barry. Ann enjoyed family gatherings, playing bingo, and loved a cold Pepsi on ice. Even greater, was the enjoyment of watching her grandchildren grow.
Special thanks to the Cancer Clinic staff for all their kindness and compassion. There are no words to express how much you have meant to her. Thank you to the nurses and staff of 3A for all their care and support.
