It is with great sadness that the family of the late Margaret Marie Hiscock announce her passing at the Carmelite Palliative Care in Grand Falls-Windsor on May 19, 2016 at the age of 69. Margaret was a member of the Catholic Women’s League, she recently received her 25 year membership pin. Margaret retired from Riff’s Department Store. She is predeceased by her father, Bernard Mackey; mother, Alice Mackey; and Ambrose and Nellie Whiffin. Margaret leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband, Dave Hiscock; and son, David (Paula) Hiscock of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn sister, Veronica Ralph (husband Gerry); Brian Mackey (stepbrother); Tony Mackey (half brother); grandchildren, Olivia, Laura, and Sam Hiscock. Father William Hearn will conduct the funeral service at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Interfaith Cemetery, Union Street. Donations may be made to the Lionel Kelland House in care of the Rotary Club of Grand Falls, the Alzheimer Society, or the Arthritis Society of Newfoundland and Labrador.
