Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ethel Pittman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

ETHEL LAVINIA PITTMAN
1945 – 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Lavinia Pittman announce her passing at the Green Bay Health Care Center in Springdale on March 1, 2017 at the age of 71. Lavinia retired from Emerson, Duty Free and Foreign Exchange. She was predeceased by her husband Emilie Belanger; parents Jack and Fanny Pittman and brother Harold Critch. Left with fond and loving memories is her son Michael (Wyonne) of Edmonton, AB. Also leaving to mourn are her brothers; Arthur (Joan), Ambrose (Erna); sisters Evelyn (Everett) and Joyce (Winston); extended family-Fern, Beryl (Chesly), Bruce (Joan) and Woodrow (Phenie); 4 grandchildren-Whitney, Braden (Gayle), Laken (Joshua), Blake (Lynda) and 7 adorable great grandchildren as well as very special friends in Emerson, Manitoba. Majors Arley and Darlene Masters will conduct the funeral service from the Salvation Army Citadel in Pilley’s Island on Friday, June 16th at 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the United Cemetery in Heads Harbour. Pallbearer will be her son Michael. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Ken Goodyear and Marilyn Stuckless of Central Funeral Homes.
