November 3, 1937 - March 25, 2015

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ethel Lillian Bennett (Miller) announce her passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL on March 25, 2015 at the age of 77. Ethel was a member of Holy Trinity Church Development, ACW, Cursillo, Lay Minister, Alpha Leader, led worship services at the Golden Years Estate and the Carmelite House Church Services, Prison Ministry at Bishop’s Falls Correctional Centre. She was also involved in Line Dancing, Seniors Exercise Program, Trefoil Guild, and 49 years with the Girl Guides of Canada. Ethel retired from The Carmelite House as a Nursing Assistant.

She was predeceased by parents, Orlando and Lydia Miller of Chapney’s East, NL. Left with fond and loving memories are husband, Donald Bennett of 59 years; daughters, Sandra Wall (Mike) of Bahamas, Heather Guest (Jeffery) of Alberta, Carolyn Doyle (Jim) of PEI, and Joy Rose (Paul) of Grand Falls-Windsor. Also leaving to mourn are brother, Cecil Miller (Gloria); sister, Dorothy Woodcock (Robert); twin brothers, Leslie Miller (Marilyn) and Pearce Miller (Darcy); grandchildren, Stephanie, Matthew and Vanessa Wall of Calgary, Jenny Doric (Mark) of Ontario, Erin Kaiser of New Brunswick, Amy and Robert Doyle of PEI, and Heidi and Jack Rose of Grand Falls-Windsor.

Reverend Randy Lockyer will conduct the funeral service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. Interment will be at a later date. Pallbearers are Mike Wall, Jim Doyle, Jeffrey Guest, Paul Rose, Mark Doric, and Robert Doyle. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Holy Trinity Anglican Church Paving Fund.
